Sweet Spring Announces … “The Birth of a New World” … “A New Beginning”

“The Birth of a New World” …

A New Beginning

Spring is the season of birth, renewal, regeneration and much more having to do with “awakening to life” all around us.

A time in the garden to plant new seeds…

A time for baby birds, chickens, ducks and animals of all sorts to be born…

It is a time when grass begins to grow, buds appear on plants and trees, and leaves begin to slowly unfold.

The earth blossoms fresh and new with spring rain and more sunlight.

Life springs forth in resurrection from the winter rest of death.

“Do You Hear the Song” of Sweet Spring?

Spring is the Season of the Sunrise of Life.

HELLO, I AM SWEET SPRING – I AM DRESSED IN THE SONG OF SPRING… …LAVENDER LILACS, WHITE DAFFODILS, RED TULIPS AND YELLOW CROCUS. YOU WILL HEAR THE SONG OF SPRING AT MY GARDEN GATE SO HURRY IN…DON’T BE LATE. COME INTO MY WORLD AND YOU CAN MEET ALL MY FRIENDS…TWIG AND BLOSSOM…SKUNK AND POSSUM AND OF COURSE, MY MEADOWLARK. I WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO PLANT A SPRING GARDEN AND THEN CARE FOR THE SEEDS YOU HAVE PLANTED… YES, PLANTING SEEDS…PULLING WEEDS…IT’S ALL PART OF MY SEASON.

Spring is all about hearing the sounds that are all around us.  Everything is fresh and new.

It is a time to plant new seeds and to wake up from the “rest” of Winter and begin the cycle of new life that comes each

year by planting and sowing only what you want to harvest in Autumn.

Sweet Spring teaches children to hear and listen as the glory of Spring breaks forth all around into new life.

I would like to share the words to my Song of Spring with you  and invite you to stay and plant the garden with me.

“The Song of Spring”

“Do you hear the Song of Spring in each and every flower…from every single silver drop that falls from new spring showers.

It’s now that birds begin to sing the song that hearts can follow…from wrens to robins, meadowlarks, and graceful little swallows.

For then it is that all the world awakens to this song and all the creatures large and small within know they belong… to a greater scheme and plan…a sweet and gentle sun…warms each day along the way…we know that we are one.

One in song and one in heart and one in every deed. If only there can be this thought in each and every seed.

The seeds that fall must be the kind that plant a gentle way. Inviting all to enjoy and ask Sweet Spring to stay.

Sweet Spring… Sweet Spring… your meadowlands turn green.

Your daffodils sprinkled over hills dot yellow to the scene.

Young sweet peas stretch and yawn and Mother Deer licks newborn fawn…in shades of your bright hue.

And on the tips of each morns lips…the grass is laced with dew.

Sweet Spring…Sweet Spring…we know that all belong Sweet Spring…Sweet Spring…we hear your newborn song.

Second Verse

“Do you hear the Song of Spring” round each and every corner?

There’s Old McDonald, Little Bo Beep and there goes Master Horner.

Little Boy Blue come blow your horn…it’s almost time to plant the corn.

And, Mary, Mary Quite Contrary how does your garden grow?

Not much yet but you can bet after my seeds I sow…the rain will come and there will be pretty maids all in a row.

Sweet Spring… Sweet Spring we know that all belong. Sweet Spring…Sweet Spring we hear your newborn song.

Planting Seeds/Pulling Weeds

Planting seeds…pulling weeds…it’s all part of the season

Hoe the dirt…Give a squirt

Now do you see the reason?

Hoe the dirt…Give a squirt

Plant the seeds and pull the weeds

Planting seeds….pulling weeds

Hoe the dirt…Give a squirt

Now do you see the reason?

The reason is the time is NOW…

The seeds are here…I’ll show you how….

We must not waste a single minute…for each seed has a MIRACLE within it.

In my hands are seeds just waiting to be planted…

So plant your seeds, make a wish…and watch your wish be granted…

For very soon the seeds will come up through the dirt you hoe and squirt…

One thing first you need to know…with your care the seeds will grow…

Grow into beans and peas, carrots and trees…

Strawberries, turnips, cabbage and squash…Possum says:

“I can’t wait by gosh…

Planting seeds/Pulling Weeds…it’s all part of my Season
