The Grand Finale A Winter Day Mr. Sun’s Song Part I NARRATOR: Next morning as the new light came and children winged towards play again… The Snowman wasn’t there today…his fragile frame had slipped away. The children in the houses awaken. Mr. Sun comes up and it is the next morning in this small winter town. Mr. Sun’s Song Part II Mr. Sun’s rays are very bright and warm and the children slept and Snowman wept for he was melting fast. The words he spoke just yesterday, would surely be his last…for Mr. Sun was shining bright on Old Jack Frost and Winter White. (The doors open to the houses and the children come running out) Mr. Sun’s Song Part III NARRATOR: When the children ran outside, they flew once more to see The Snowman and be his friend. But, the day was so hot that The Snowman was not…except for a puddle, again. A puddle left in winter snow was all that there was left to show…where love had been in all their heart’s only yesterday.
