The Clock of Seasons turns to Spring…

The Clock of Seasons turns to Spring…

A Special Personal Note from Gabrielle… We are about to leave the Season of Winter as we move on The Clock of Seasons™ into Spring. I have always felt that the Four Seasons represent our lives in so many ways. Here is why… Spring is the season of birth, renewal, regeneration and much more having to do with “awakening to life” all around us. A time in the garden to plant new seeds… A time for baby birds, chickens, ducks and animals of all sorts to be born… It is a time when grass begins to grow, buds appear on plants and trees, and leaves begin to slowly unfold. The earth blossoms fresh and new with spring rain and more sunlight. Life springs forth in resurrection from the winter rest of death. “Do You Hear the Song” of Sweet Spring? Spring is the Season of the Sunrise of Life. Summer is the season of nurturing, observing, and the enjoying of life that has come from ascending out of spring time. The Summer Sun is now climbing into the sky to reach mid-day. Summer time continues on… growing up gardens, animals, and surroundings into triumphant maturity. All is bathed in warm sunshine, raindrops, and long hazy, … Continue reading

The children in the houses awaken.  Mr. Sun comes up and it is the next morning in this small winter town. Mr. Sun’s Song Part II Mr. Sun’s rays are very bright and warm and the children slept and Snowman wept for he was melting fast. The words he spoke just yesterday, would surely be his last…for Mr. Sun was shining bright on Old Jack Frost and Winter White. (The doors open to the houses and the children come running out)  Mr. Sun’s Song Part III NARRATOR:  When the children ran outside, they flew once more to see The Snowman and be his friend. But, the day was so hot that The Snowman was not…except for a puddle, again. A puddle left in winter snow was all that there was left to show…where love had been in all their heart’s only yesterday. (Very sadly) The Children sing “The Second Song of the Children” After the song is sung, suddenly from up in the sky The Snowman waves … Continue reading

Princess Water Lily’s Secret

I would like to write a blog that is late… I would like to reveal to you “Princess Water Lily’s Secret” which I mentioned in a previous blog.   This is her “secret” story… If you recall, Princess Water Lily came to our Sanctuary two years ago to be with her good friend, Chief Thumper. They had known each other at the house they lived in before coming to live in our Hoop House here at our Sanctuary. Princess Water Lily was so happy to be reunited with Chief Thumper.  He was so happy to see her again. They were waiting for “The Dream Catcher” to appear so they could take children on many adventures. Being late writing about Princess Water Lily’s Secret happened because I had to take time away for very important personal reasons. So, now, even though I am late,  I want to tell you Princess Water Lily’s Secret because her secret needs to be told.   I want everyone to know how special she has always been from the first day I met her. Princess Water Lily had a very hard life before going to temporarily live in the house with Chief Thumper and then eventually to our Sanctuary here where she … Continue reading

Besides, Winter White watches Old Jack Frost… if I bite too hard…on my ear I’ll be tossed.
