Gnomes…Gnomes…and more Gnome Adventure

The Gnomes are coming…the Gnomes are coming…actually they have already arrived.

Peter Whistle and Frog

First, Peter Whistle, the Gnome, came with Friendly Frog to live on our front porch.

As you still remember, if you read the adventure story, a double rainbow appeared in the sky right after their arrival.  Rainbows are definitely a sign of a special gift when the “bow shows” up here.

I will tell you that we continue to have double rainbows to this day.

But, what I haven’t told you is that more and more Gnomes came and took their place near the garden, close to the Hoop House, and on the enclosed front porch.

All our plants immediately came alive and grew with the Gnome energy near them.

When I would stand in front of them to ask the Gnomes who they were…they, without a sound, told me their names…each after another until all had revealed who they were.

Jeb and Greb took their places on the Summer Table on the enclosed porch.

Moringa 2One of the tiniest Gnomes, whose name is Timothy (Tiny Tim for short…remember him…no can’t be…wrong story:)  appeared in the Moringa Tree pot because the, also, tiny tree needed energy to grow.   It had been struggling.

Overnight the Moringa Tree grew and it became strong.  The tiny Gnome’s energy had changed everything overnight.

Do you know what a Moringa Tree is?  It is called The Miracle Tree.  I will tell you more about this tree another time.

I would see remarkable things happen as each new Gnome appeared.    Their form was still but their energy was always moving unseen.

All the garden responded.

The Hoop House “hooped and hollered” (pardon the pun) and began thriving in ways unexpected… literally overnight.

Who were these little bearded men that carried such power to affect the greenery here?

I had never taken to Gnomes as so many people that I had heard along the way had not either.  They were strange…different…not for me.

But, with my own eyes I could see miracles coming to the plant and animal kingdom that was all around me here.

Princess Water Lily and Chief Thumper were excited to see the little men arrive.

All the roosters and chickens circled the Gnomes as if to say “thank you” for coming to help our gardens and our friends.

The trees, flowers, and plants seem to have much more energy to turn greener or to flower more abundantly.

The most amazing thing that happened was seeing the little Gnomes take different positions when we weren’t looking.

Especially Piper and Topper who stood by the toadstools.  I had to rub my eyes several times as something very magical was taking place like they were playing a game with me.   My eyes were playing tricks on me but then the others who live here saw it, too. They continued to move little spaces so as to be noticed yet not be noticed.

How ingenious these little men were.  Why, I asked…are so many Gnomes arriving?

Then I read their history so I could tell you why…Whether you like Gnomes or not…whether you welcome them or send them away out of fearing the unknown…this is the story I found in my quest to step into their world and “know them better” and understand why they arrived here at this time.

Here is a piece of their “history”:

“Gnomes are small little beings who inhabit the spirit realm of the element earth. Their name means “earth dwellers.” Gnomes dwell on the first level of the spirit realm, they are close enough to the physical realm in order to easily interact with it. They absorb energy from the ethers and release the energy into matter giving it life. They are formless and typically invisible to the average person as they are energy spirits. They can take on the form of whatever they interact with. Those who have the gift of “sight” may be able to see them. When they meet a human who is able to see them they can appear short and stocky as you’ve most often seen them depicted. Gnomes have a great sense of humour and are very clever. By tradition Gnomes were hoarders and protectors of secret treasures hidden in caves beneath the earth. Legends have it that they were reluctant to help and aid humans, but if you were to gain the trust of one, they could prove to be powerful friends. They like humans who are kind and honest and will often try to help these individuals. They can seem gruff and unfriendly, so if you do interact with them you want to try not to lose their trust. If you wish to work with a gnome, go to a wooded area, call to it, and wait patiently until it reveals itself to you or you sense its presence. Give it a small gift to thank it for its assistance. Gnomes love jewelry — and quartz crystals. “

Now, after reading a small bit of their history, I might know, perhaps, why they chose this place at this time.

I haven’t told you about all of the quartz crystals that we have found here on this land.  Lots and Lots of beautiful quartz, crystal rock everywhere.

We have gathered the beautiful rocks for years and placed them in the gardens.  Before you think I am getting to “weird for words”, I know you “well know” the story of  Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

If you look into Gnome history more, you will find Gnomes that look just like the Seven Dwarfs… Happy, Sneezy, Doc, Bashful, Dopey, Sleepy and the notorious, Grumpy.

Now, remember again that the Dwarfs always went into the earth to mine for gems and crystal rock leaving Snow White at the cottage in the forest.

Could it be that we came to this land with all of its crystal quartz and the Gnomes were here before us?

Could it be that after eight long years, when they felt the timing was right, they began revealing themselves by moving out to take their rightful place and bring beautiful earth energy to our plant and animal kingdom that we worked very hard to build.

Isn’t there a saying “if you build it, they will come”?   Just maybe, they were already here when we built it:)

Could it also be that they expect hard work to make land into a garden before they show up to help?

Well, whatever the reason…the Gnomes have come and they are finally here to bring their assistance to all the growing plants in the Hoop House, the gardens, and the land.

BG (before Gnomes) I didn’t understand who they were and what they have done through history so I wasn’t grateful to them at all.

Now, I am ready for our adventures with all our new friends…Piper and Topper, Smokey and Pokey, Bunch and Crunch, Jeb and Greb, Timothy and especially our first Gnome who appeared one day walking to our porch, Peter Whistle and his Friend…Frog (my favorite Gnome:)  Please keep this a secret.

Join me often for more adventure with our Gnome Friends here at The Hoop House and we will explore more history, too.

Do you know which country the Gnomes/Dwarfs history came from?  I will tell you that history next time.

Awareness takes away fear of things unknown…Since we aren’t afraid of the Seven Dwarfs who were from the Elemental Kingdom of Gnomes now we can…

Enjoy the adventures,

Gabrielle
